Privacy notice

This is the English summary of our privacy notice for visitors of the English pages. The complete and authoritative document is the Hungarian Adatkezelési tájékoztató, which also covers memberships, payments, invoicing and photos. If the two differ, the Hungarian version applies. It follows the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the Hungarian Act CXII of 2011.

Who is the controller

1. The data controller is Attila Tóth, sole proprietor (Krav Maga Újbuda, "we").
2. Registered seat: Vadai Ferenc u. 26, 5200 Törökszentmiklós, Hungary. Registration number: 50144734; tax number: 67378449-1-36.
3. Place of training: Barázda Center, 1st floor, Barázda utca 42, 1116 Budapest, Hungary.
4. E-mail: info@kravmaga11.hu. We are not required to appoint a data protection officer; the controller answers privacy questions at this address.

Forms on this website

1. The English pages have three forms. The trial class form asks for your name and e-mail address (required), and optionally which class you would come to and a message. The private training form asks for your name and e-mail address (required), and optionally your age, group size, goals, sports background, injuries, availability and a message. The contact form asks for your name, e-mail address and message.
2. Purpose: answering your enquiry, arranging your trial class or session, making an offer.
3. Legal basis: your consent, given with the checkbox under the form. The injuries field of the private training form is voluntary; if you fill it in, you expressly consent to us using this health data to plan your training safely.
4. To prevent abuse, we also record the time of the submission, your IP address and your browser type, based on our legitimate interest.
5. The submitted data is stored in Cloudflare's database service (D1) and forwarded to info@kravmaga11.hu by e-mail through Resend. Our mailbox is hosted by Proton. After you submit a form we send an automatic confirmation e-mail with practical information, also through Resend.
6. If the consent text of the form says so, we also add your name and e-mail address to our newsletter list at MailerLite. You can unsubscribe with one click at the bottom of any newsletter.
7. Retention: 12 months from the submission, or until you withdraw your consent. If you become a member, the Hungarian notice applies to the further processing.
8. The forms are protected by the Cloudflare Turnstile bot check, which evaluates technical characteristics of your browser and sets no marketing cookies.

Running the website

1. The website is served through Cloudflare's network. While serving it, Cloudflare processes technical data (IP address, browser type, requested page, time) for secure operation and to fend off attacks. We do not analyse this data in a way that identifies you.
2. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running the website securely and without interruption.
3. The schedule is read from a public Google Calendar feed by our own server; this sends no data about you to Google. The embedded Google Map on the location and contact pages and the YouTube video on the What is Krav Maga? page may let Google process technical data under its own policy. The video loads only after you click it, from youtube-nocookie.com.

Cookies

1. We measure visits with Google Analytics 4 and occasionally run Google Ads, whose results are shown by conversion measurement. These set cookies and record data only if you agreed to this in the cookie banner (Consent Mode v2). Without consent the Google tags send anonymous, aggregated signals without cookies.
2. In Google Analytics the IP address is processed in shortened form, and Google keeps user-level data for at most 14 months.
3. Cloudflare Web Analytics may also produce cookieless visit statistics that record no personal data.
4. Legal basis: your consent. You can change or withdraw it at any time: change cookie settings. The list of cookies and their lifetimes is in the Hungarian Cookie tájékoztató.

Service providers

1. Besides the controller, the instructors have access to the data, only as far as running the classes requires.

3. With the US providers, data may leave the European Union. These providers ensure adequate protection through certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Switzerland is a safe third country under an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

4. We do not sell data, and we do not pass it on to third parties for marketing.

Your rights

1. Access: you can ask what data we hold about you and request a copy.
2. Rectification: you can ask us to correct inaccurate data or complete incomplete data.
3. Erasure: you can ask us to delete your data if it is no longer needed, you withdrew your consent, or the processing is unlawful.
4. Restriction, portability, objection: you can ask us to only store your data, to hand it over in a machine-readable format, or object to processing based on legitimate interest.
5. Withdrawing consent: at any time, without giving a reason, by e-mail, or with the unsubscribe link in the case of the newsletter.
6. Send your request to info@kravmaga11.hu; we answer within 30 days at the latest. We may verify your identity so that we do not hand your data to someone else.

Complaints

1. If you feel we are not handling your data properly, please tell us first so we can put it right.
2. You can lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH): Falk Miksa utca 9–11, 1055 Budapest; phone: +36 1 391 1400; e-mail: ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu; web: naih.hu.
3. You can also go to court; you may bring the case before the regional court of your place of residence.
